Hi,

 

I have one PC that suddenly lost DNS. After rebooting the router the PC had DNS back for like 2 hours then it was gone again.
Telnet 8.8.8.8 53 doesn't work, when switching the Wifi connection on the PC to another WIFI network telnetting worked again. This makes me conclude that the problem is related to the router.

 

Any advice?

  @Jopnert If you happen to be using homeshield antivirus, turn it off. I've encountered issues with secure DNS on some devices with it on.

  @qazwsxedc16 Thanks for the suggestion. I see indeed that he's getting blocked for DDOS on the router. I'll have to investigate this further
