I'm planning to buy a TP-Link router and I see Archer AX1500 router sold with code AX12 and AX18. To my eye they look the same.

So, what is the difference and why should I choose one or the other?

These two are quite identical as parameters - details.

I would choose the one with the most recent FW release.
