Archer C2600 with Archer TE9 - upstream is double downstream speed

Hi guys,
I got both the Archer C2600 and the Archer TE9 (wish there was a TE10 with 4 streams at time of purchase) recently and I am having a good time with them. I connect at 1.3Gbps and the speeds are so much better than my old power plug connection which maxed out about 300Mbps transfer speed. I work off my NAS a lot and have servers directly connected to it over Gb ethernet also so I was using them as comparison to discount NAS issues. As a speed test I transferred a 7GB video file from my NAS to my server and PC and then copied them back. I was getting about 920Mbps to/from the server over Gb ethernet. On the over PC over the TE9 I was getting about 500Mb downstream, meaning NAS -> PC. When I copied it back to the NAS (to a different share/folder) I was seeing 800Mbps which is fantastic. I repeated with different files and got the same result.
I am happy with the setup but my question is why is the downstream 300Mbps slower than upstream?
Thanks
B
