Model: Archer Air R5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer Air R5(EU)_V1_1.1.7 Build 20241223

Hi,

I bought few weeks ago Archer Air R5 just because your datasheet (https://www.tp-link.com/nordic/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-air-r5/) mentioned that it is EasyMesh -compatible. Fine - so far so good, but when I tried to connect it to my existing wifi (on Archer NX200) it appears to be "off-line" all the time.

Closer look into your web site it appears, that it is OneMesh -compatible....

So is there a roadmap to get Air R5 EasyMesh compatible or should I throw away both and buy a product from manufacturer who know real situation in regards of compatibility within its product line?

/Mikko

From what I can see in both Air R5 and NX200 description and user guide, they both should be Easymesh compatible.

To get Air R5 connected to your existing NX200 you may use the WPS method as easiest method to do that.

First reset the Air R5 to its factory default settings by pressing its reset button for about 10 seconds.
