How to use WR940N with proxy server

Hello - this is my first posting so please be gentle with me!
I have bought a 450Mbps wireless router WR940N to help me extend the network at a school for a sports event. I have not tried to connect it at the school yet. I have used it at home to extend my home network and all works fine as expected.
In order to access the internet via the school network, I have to set up a proxy server. I do this by going into internet options in Internet Explorer, then in LAN settings, ticking "Use a proxy server for your LAN" and typing in a proxy address (xxxxxxxxxx.org.uk) and a port.
Could anybody help with advice on whether I have to change any settings on the WR940N as a result of this proxy server, and if so what they are? Or is it simply that the proxy server settings need to be configured on any device that connects to the network created by the WR940N?
What I am intending to do is plug the WR940N into the school network via an ethernet cable and set up a new wireless network.
Since I don't get many opportunities to test or experiment at the school I'd like to make sure I know how to do it beforehand.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
Ben
