Archer T8E connection frequency (2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz) control with Windows 10
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Given that I had to wait more than 3 months since I bought the Archer T8E card before TP-Link published the drivers for Windows 10, now that I finally installed the T8E card with Windows 10 (even if the signal strenghth is really poor, far less than any other computer I get connected at the same distance) I cannot control which frequency band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) is used by the T8E to connect to my Wi-Fi 802.11ac router that uses the same SSID for both frequencies. In other words: is it possible to set the Archer T8E card so that it connects only (or preferably) to the 5 GHz frequency band and (someway) control it?
