archer c50 router problem
My Archer C50 modem's lights keep turning off and on completely after a faulty firmware update; the internet light turns red and then goes off again. That's all it does; it keeps repeating.

Assuming you mean your connection keeps failing and the router stays on stick a pin in the back until the lights flash to reset and just go to the FW update section and re-flash the FW and don't be impatient, let it do it and fully reboot itself before trying to go online again, that's let it reboot and walk away for 5 minutes while it sorts itself out.
After the reset and before the reflash use a browser to go to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 then do the reflash, remember the router has to fully boot before it'll let you login to it.
