BBC APPS will not work with DECO wifi
When using any BBC apps on either my iPad OS 26.3.1a or iPhone 26.3.1 it will not work with the DECO WiFi. It will only work with my BT router. The apps are up to date. It used to at one point but I'm not sure when it stopped working. I've tried rebooting everything without success. Would really appreciate any advice.
thanks

Since you're able to access other content but specifically having issues with BBC apps on the Deco network, please try these steps:
1. Identify ISP issue: For phone applications, disconnect the main Deco and connect your BT router back to the ISP Modem for a comparison to verify if it's an ISP-related issue.
2. Check for VPN or proxy settings: Ensure that no VPN or network proxy is enabled on your iPad or iPhone.
3. Change DNS settings: Open the Deco app, go to MORE > Internet Connection, and change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. After updating the DNS server, reconnect your devices to the Deco network to ensure the new DNS settings take effect.
4. Check Antivirus/Real-Time Protection: On several Deco models, the "Antivirus" or "Real-Time Protection" feature might block potential malicious websites. Please check the Antivirus or Real-Time Protection history in your Deco app to see if BBC services are being blocked there.
5. Review Parental Control settings: Check the Parental Control settings in your Deco app, including content filtering and website blocking, to make sure BBC apps or related domains aren't being restricted.
The DNS change in step 3 is often the most effective solution for app-specific connectivity problems like this.
