I also got an Archer C7 from Amazon. And it's hardware version is V2. Don't know whether you get the same model as mine...
On guest network, I can decide what time to turn on/off the guest wifi. However, it seems the router will take a minute also to make the changes take effect.
As for local wireless 2.4GHz and 5GHz, I cannot find the schedule option. However, there is a hard switch to turn on/off the 2.4&5G wifi on the back of the router.
However, the router works fine and it can meet all my needs.
