I recently installed the latest firmware for TP-Link WA901ND v4 but it turned out to be the EU version and my access point is the international version. I tried flashing the older firmware but kept getting error code 18005, is there a way to go back to original firmware which is intended for my access point.

Latest EU firmware (installed): TL-WA901ND(EU)_V4_160304
Latest (non EU) firmware (previously installed): TL-WA901ND_V4_151029

I think TP-LINK have mentioned that in website and You can only upgrade to the EU firmware after update. Why do you want to go back to original firmware? Maybe you need to contact TP-LINK support team.

Me too. Since this update my WIFI signal strength has dropped by around 50%. I have tried to go back to is original version but I also get the error.Not happy :-(
