Can't find tp-link extender

hey,
i've just bought this product and set it up via wps and now i can't seem to find the network on my wireless conections so i then tried step 2 but i couldn't disconnect the extender from my wifi to connect via manual set up, the main problem is not being able to find my extender on my wifi? help :(
