I would like to know on why router need to restart regularly in order to work properly.

PC - Router - Modem - Internet (Connection fails regularly)
PC - Modem - Internet (It works fine during testing)

so router should be the major cause on network connection fail, once I restart router and modem, network connection works again.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what wrong it is?

Would it be the latest firmware? if not, where to download the latest one?

Furthermore, please see the attached image, I would like to know on how to setup the mail setting to receive log for hotmail account.

Also on my router there is the same problem, the router hangs internet connection and the led became red.
Until i reboot the device, i cannot go on internet.
Why? Is there a watchdog to reboot router when internet hangs?
