Model : Archer T2U AC600 & Asus RT-N66U

ISP : Rogers

Hello,

Recently purchased this Wi-Fi adapter for my desktop and I can't get download speeds higher than 120Mbps it appears to be capped around there. Both my laptop and smartphone both receive speeds around 180 Mbps down. I put the adapter in my laptop and I have the same issue.
I'm using an Asus RT-N66U router.

Using Wireless N 5Ghz

If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

the ASUS router seems to have compatible issue with tp-link product
you can test with another router (by your friends or neighbor)

same thing with Archer C7. Link speed is 433Mbit 802.11ac with a 500/200 broadband
ISP is OK, as testing on wired gigabit it often shows even higher speeds.
The T2U is stuck at 150 Mbit for download, but, that strange thing is, that it is able to achieve (almost) the full 200Mbit speed for upload.
