how to share media from computer to smart tv by the router?

i have this tplink router and i try to stream my videos by it from my computer to my smart tv as a local network, i know it should be my computer and the tv connected on the same router but seems thats not working on my router and just wondering why? and does my router support sharing that content or not? i connected my 2 devices on diffrent router and it worked perfectly now i want to check if this router support or not, and if support please tell me the right guide how to set it well.
