Hi everyone i bought this repeater last week because i have a router kinda far away on my home and i couldn't do it by ethernet

i'm gonna start saying i love gaming so as you can imagine i use a lot of bandwidth

i bought this thing because with the connection i was having, i was fighting with a lot of lagoffs, packet loss and several disconect issues

and so here comes the first issue:

As soon as i set the repeater with my wifi it kicked me out of the tplinkrepeater.net and i never could get back in

this weirded me out but well if it works im not going to complain i said, but now i have a second big issue who is annoying me the most.

plugging this thing up, make me have less ping, a more stable connection but less bandwidth and less download speed

^this is a really big issue here and it gets annoying, i can play better? yes i do, i have small lagoffs now and then but i went from downloading things at 1.1mb/s to downloading things at 40kb/s

when i go check the bandwidth i get 1 of the 10mbs im paying, and the weirdest part of this is that if i unplug the repeater i get those mbs back so its clear that the repeater is causing it?

the point is, as im far off the router(not really far tho, i get 3-4 bars) i get some really bad lagoffs without it

so what can you guys recommend me to do?

(by the way the model i have is a TL-WA850RE)

things i figured out since i worte this last night:

i fixed the first issue about being kicked out of the settings page, now i am trying a firmware update to see if that fixes it

(im installing the V3)

edit, couldnt install the update but i could set it as a separate id than the original wifi, basically now i have two ssid's one for playing and one for downloading, but now a new issue has been discovered, now im getting ping peaks of 2000

(if you dont know how bad it is, imagine using a car and literally blowing up, going back in time and then blowing up again) these peaks are caused by the repeater, because i switched to the main ssid and i dont have them, why is this thing not working properly when it worked fine all the week?

second edit:
i ran both ssid's trough speedtest, see the image below.

if you can't see it clearly im having 10mbps without the repeater and only 2 when i use it.

upload speed doesn't change at all but dat download D:
