TL-WA855RE - no connection when N-Only mode in router
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Extender: TL-WA855RE
Router: TL-WR1043ND with DD-WRT v3.0-r30949 std (12/15/16)
On router I have the following settings:
Wireless Mode: AP
Wireless Network Mode: N-Only (2.4 GHz)
Channel Width: Dynamic (20/40 MHz)
Wireless Channel: Auto
Extension Channel: auto
Wireless SSID Broadcast: Enabled
All my clients: Android smartphones, tablets, TV, laptop are connected to the router with the settings as above.
BUT extender TL-WA855RE is not able to connect to the router and of course clients connected to Extender are getting "No internet"
When I change Wireless Network Mode from "N-Only (2,4 GHz)" to "NG-Mixed" then extender is able to connect to the router.
According to TL-WA855RE specification it support IEEE 802.11n standard
So why it doesn't connect to my router when "N-Only (2,4 GHz)" is selected?
