TP Link TL-WN722N is not getting detected in Kali linux

Hi Everyone,
My TP-Link TL-WN722N wifi external adapter is not working on kali linux.
it is not even listing under lsusb or network settings. Its working fine on HostOS (windows).
I tried all the stuffs like installing backport, uninstalling driver from host, etc.
Please let me know what i am missing here. Attached the screenshot for your reference.
Appreciate your help in advance.

Similar situation. I have Kali Linux rolling, after plugging adapter nothing is happened.
lsusb show the same info: 010c . Please contact me if you solve it.

it's a shame no Linux driver V3 edition - need some using Mint 18 4.8 kernel...my old WN821N Atheros revived..the only one working on Win10 & Ubuntu 17 + Mint18...
thought a newer stick works better...but it's a fairytale (!) :)
