TL-WR941HP as Range extender (signal drop)
Model : TL-WR941HP
Hardware Version : 1.0
Firmware Version : TL-WR941HP(UN)_V1_170104
ISP :
I am running the device TL- WR941HP at my apartment for more than 2 months just to extend to range of my current WiFi router. However, it is now evident to me that WR941HP has some issues with range extender specifically while it has performed extraordinarily well as a router. What it does as range extender is it sometime fails to connect to main router even though the Main router is up and running, and after rebooting the WR941HP it begins to work as extender. I suppose this could be an issue with throughput. Along the WR941HP, I tested W841N as extender and it performed so well. I will expect a quick bug fixing release very soon from the Tp link developers for TL-WR941HP.
