AP mode can't use home care. it is better to use the first deco as router mode.
The second deco should be connected behind the first deco. Like this:
ISP modem- switch- deco1-switch- deco 2
-deco 3

AP mode is still pretty useless

I upgraded to FW 1.2.1, build 20180606, and DHCP is still a mess on these.

I power-cycled my router, switch and fiber converter today, and the primary Deco node promptly assumed DHCP services, even after the router had booted and started providing the DHCP services it is supposed to. I had to power off the primary Deco node and reboot the router again, and once it was up and running, I could power on the Deco node again.

This is absolutely useless!

I got some diagnostics firmware from TP-Link, which allowed me to login to the nodes and disable the DHCP server, however I could not make that setting persistent as the root file system is read-only, so after a power outage it is back to the useless behavior.
