I've got a Archer MR200 router, been working fine as wifi in house since December then suddenly I've got spikes of usage 900GB on odd days at odd time, once when we were not even in the house.
Is there somewhere I can see what devise caused this spike in usage .
I can see on statistics it show packets but I don't know how much a packet is or when / timescale this refers to.
We have 50GB for a month been plenty and now used nearly 30gb in 10 days!
Any help identifying whats making it happen would be great

It sounds like someone may have piggy-backed you router. Do you live in a built up area and/or have friends who may have noted your router access code without you knowing?

think we have sorted it now, my son had a look and changed some settings and seems to have settled down, there were some unknown users, strange as we are not in a built up area, now blocked

you can see the users under wireless statics or advanced---network--lan settings--clients
