Next firmware release for TL-1043ND_V4 ?
Model : TL-WR1043ND v4 Romania
Hardware Version : TL-WR1043ND v4 00000000
Firmware Version : 3.16.9 Build 20160607 Rel.58297n
ISP : RCS-RDS
I am really amazed, for 1 year there is no firmware release for TL-WR1043ND V4.
- For months there is an already discovered and confirmed security NAT leakage: https://forum.lede-project.org/t/nat-leakage-on-tl-wr1043nd-v4/1712
- There is no dual-stack PPPoE configuration (IPv4 and IPv6) even though this router is well sold in Romania, and major providers here use dual-stack for years.
- And now... we got a CIA vulnerability: http://www.blacklistednews.com/Advanced_CIA_Firmware_Has_Been_Infecting_Wi-Fi_Routers_for_Years/59172/0/38/38/Y/M.html
Please excuse my humble opinion, but I think an update firmware for TL-WR1043ND is really necessary at this point.
