AC1750 indicator light changes blue to red every now and then

I have the AC1750 range extender and I had set it up successfully. Blue light was on and working fine.
However, recently I've noticed that every now and then, the indicator light switches to red. It stays red for a few seconds and then goes back to blue. Has anyone encountered this issue?
Does it mean that it's losing the wifi connection?
