Hi.

My Archer T6E AC1300 WiFi adapter has major packet loss issues when connecting to any 2.4GHz network using WPA2 (both Personal and Enterprise) encryption. Packet loss ranges from between 80-100%, effectively making me unable to use the band. The only way I can functionally use 2.4GHz WiFi is by enabling FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) which reduces security and speed.

In comparison the 5GHz works flawlessly, however due to range I'm needing the 2.4GHz.

Does anyone know of any way to solve this issue? Is it possible my Adapter is faulty?

Thanks

What's the operation system of your computer? Did you try change the Wireless Channel and Channel Width on your computer? Do your other wireless clients work well with 2.4GHz?

I am using Windows 10. Since first discovering the issue I have re-imaged Windows 10 on my PC and still have the same issue.

The issue happens regardless of wireless channel or channel width. It happens on multiple routers (I've tested 3). No other clients on the network have the same issue.

I have tested the connection using an older wireless card and have no issue, so I believe it's the T6E at fault.
