the led lights are not working when operational when I reboot router they flash as normal but when router is on they do not show all functions for wireless and Ethernet usb are working OK the unit is 2.5 years old I tried factory reset and have the latest firmware here is the last log

You mean the wifi LED and Ethernet LED light are off?And the wifi function and Ethernet function are working or not?

yes all functions work without the lights working ....but it seems they are back to normal now after a few reboots of the router plus in daylight I cant see the blue led but as dusk comes and night falls you can see the led lights ....but they are not as bright as when first got the router.

all the lights are working just they appear not to in the daylight hours

The led lights are probably on, they are just too dim to see in bright light. Same issue here.

The C9 runs hot. I suspect a change in firmware several versions ago, reduced power to the LEDs to help cut power usage and was one way to attempt to cool things off, even if only slightly.
