Hi
I just recently brought an archer C50 router, the router i think is not working properly.
the always on option does not work properly.
If there is a power failure, after the router shuts off when the power comes back the router is not able to connect it is always in the connnecting....state trying to connect.
unless i enter the router setup from inside i then disconnect and connect it again.

i have PPPOE connection, with user name and password, to rectify i have reset the router and enter the details again and tried it is still the same issue.

please let me know what is the issue and possible solution to the issue, will any upgrade to firmware solve it, or is it any settings problem

regards

What's the firmware version and hardware version on C50? Will rebooting the modem or rebooting the router help when it disconnect?

Hi Anton,
Thanks for the reply..
firmware: 0.9.1 3.0 v0045.0 Build 160411 Rel.42416n
hardware:
Archer C50 v1 00000002

v1 00000002 what does this above mean,
v1 hardware version, what is 000000002 ?

No rebooting the router does not help, and also the for first 1 or 2 days it was working ok.
then suddenly it started behaving this way...thats is why i am puzzled about the issue.

regards

That's strange, it's better to contact TP-Link support to check the issue. http://www.tp-link.in/support-contact.html#E-mail-Support
