Hi,
I'm having a problem with my newly purchased Ad7200 when I started downloading torrents, the internet connection drops having to restart the ad7200 to work again.
Does anyone know of any solutions? The firmware is updated and I'm using the ad7200 itself to download (external HD connected to the ad7200's usb). Sorry for my bad English.

Have you tried to use Torrent download on a PC, not to the HD? Also have you tried to connect PC to your modem/ISP directly and try to download torrent? It might be an ISP-related issue. On the AD7200, when try to do torrent download, is there a WAN IP address still?

I've tried all this. The internet continues to run normally, only the ad7200 drops. The isp router continues to run normally, with the same ip.

I think you can send an email to tplink tech support (
suporte.br@tp-link.com) to let them check it out.

AD7200 works perfect until i want to download some torrents;
2017-12-25 01:58:09
Model : AD7200
Hardware Version : v2
Firmware Version : 2.0.1 Build 20170103 rel.71053(4555)
ISP : Poland, MultiMedia (also for test - my own DHCP server);
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
still, the same problem as @Thiago
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AD7200 works perfect until i want to download some torrents;
after several minutes (~10-15 min.) internet is lost;
"(...)is there a WAN IP address still?(...)" - yes;
LAN/WiFi? - irrelevant, both the same problem;
RELEASE / RENEW - no effect; but after that it no longer gets an IP address;
only full restart helps;
whether it works on another device? yes! laptop ok, AC2600 (the same configuration) works 100% ok;
"stock" configuration? also the same, AC2600 work 100%, AD7200 fail;

Maybe you can try to disable NAT boost function.

If you mean: http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-1104.html => I dont see this option in AD7200 => even on an emulator: http://www.tp-link.com/resources/simulator/emulator_ad7200v2/index.html

Hi Guys, Verify the distance between the modem and the router, because the RF signal from WIFI causes many problems including this one.

Ok, but this is not a distance problem. Whether your laptop is 5 cm from the router or 5 m away, the problem is the same. The problem occurs regardless of the connection method (wired versus wireless).

I am having the exact same problem. I have tried contacting support, btu they claim they cannot recreate the issue. Using a different router or connecting directly to the modem works fine. Any ideas?
