I have the following problem with this TP-link model on windows 7. When I use it I have very high response time. If I use the ethernet cable I do not have the same problem and if I use another USB WIFI adapter I do not have that problem.
Could you help me identify why this happens?

Is your adapter V1 or V2?
You may try use the driver from Ralink. Chipset Ralink RTL8192CU for V1, RTL8192EU for V2.

Fix the router channel and security mode may help.

Its V2 but i cant find that Ralink driver..... to install

Like Anton.L.Z said, you may try fix the router channel to 1/6/11, change the bandwidth to 20MHz.
