hi hello i bought my archer c5 router where i could find only 2.5ghz where as i clouldnt find my 5ghz wifi signal siting next to it.

Not all wireless clients have the ability to detect 5GHz signal.
What's the device? You can google whether it supports 5GHz.

If it does support 5GHz but not see it, make sure the 5GHz wifi light is on and change the channel of 5GHz to 36 or 144 or something else.
