You may try to restart the router, try a different browser, clean the cash, also try a different client?
By the way, the model number seems not right.

Do you still have internet access? ooh, if you reset it to factory default, you will not get internet until you configure it again, you may check whether computer get correct IP address from it and try to ping the router address on computer to see what happens

I can access the internet. I ended up doing the configuration through the tether application, however, only change the name and password of the wireless network.

I really needed to change the wireless network and channel range

I'm having the same problem with my TP-Link Archer C2. When I am on the login screen and input the default username/password and login I get HTTP code 500 with the same message.
I've just purchased the router from a local vendor. Then I went to their technical service and asked them to check it out. The guy there just turned it on and it just worked.
I took it back home confused and when I turned it on I got the same exact error.

I've tried to connect it with Ethernet cable to different machines - Linux, Windows - same error appeared to all of them.
I've tried to connect with different browsers (with clean cache) on the different machines and got the same error.
I've performed the tests with both unplugged and plugged internet cable. Same.

To negate the browser cache I also tried to execute login form using curl from terminal:
~> curl -X POST -F 'operation=login' -F 'username=admin' -F 'password=be90e54716fc3c4075890e0de986a598f7e5f13b8e5b0b3dffb15a39ff918c861bc8bae67769fc13af5af21403aa8628659eb6c7a8a20b199f6e92f49c93632de1c2448f3098178fb7c0c6ea22263c34c987af962f7049badf2399f1e7628766f97703bf1584c7a053cabd2ea79f9a19b4a0ec7f7ae3043c8aca6edfa02f283c' http://192.168.0.1/cgi-bin/luci/login\?form\=login
Failed to execute call dispatcher target for entry '/login'.
The called action terminated with an exception:
bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)
stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'assert'
?: in function 'dispatch'
?: in function %
~> curl -X POST -F 'operation=login' -F 'username=admin' -F 'password=be90e54716fc3c4075890e0de986a598f7e5f13b8e5b0b3dffb15a39ff918c861bc8bae67769fc13af5af21403aa8628659eb6c7a8a20b199f6e92f49c93632de1c2448f3098178fb7c0c6ea22263c34c987af962f7049badf2399f1e7628766f97703bf1584c7a053cabd2ea79f9a19b4a0ec7f7ae3043c8aca6edfa02f283c' http://tplinkwifi.net/cgi-bin/luci/login\?form\=login
Failed to execute call dispatcher target for entry '/login'.
The called action terminated with an exception:
bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)
stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'assert'
?: in function 'dispatch'
?: in function %

NOTE: The first attempt is using the IP and the second one is using the domain name written at the router label (tplinkwifi.net). I've tried with both on all other experiments as well.

Still no idea what is happening.

Does someone else has any clue to work-around or fix this?

I've tried all the solutions above.
Anyone solved the problem?

I forwarded the router to the support of Tp-link Brasil, they reset the router and sent me the steps they did.
I tried to reproduce, however, to no avail. So I installed the Lede Project ROM to configure it as I needed it.
