My Router is a FREEBOX which works reasonably.  I have a given network name ie "Family_K"
I need to get the signal thru thick walls and the electrics in various parts of the house are on separate boards.
So I have drilled the main 3 foot thick wall to join a TPLINK AC 1750 range extender to a TP-Link AC 1200 Wireless Dual Band Router (Archer C50)
Questions:
- Should each device have same name ie "Family_K"?
- Should I swap either device for a AC750?
- The system has asked me if I want to make a computer to computer network. What role will this play?  Does it make a house wide network linked to the FreeBox router?

I thought that this would be relatively simple
I fear that the expanders do not send signals out along the wire plugged in to its side because I "see" and "join" the TP-Link AC 1200 Wireless Dual Band Router (Archer C50) but it does not give me access to the internet.

Thanks for any advice.

It's a bit confused. I don't understand how you want to connect the C50 router and a range extender along with the freebox router. The C50 router is wireless also, so you may try WDS, linked to the main router wirelessly, then you can put the C50 router in another place to extend signal, but you may not succeed due to compatibility issue. For the extender, just set it up to extend your main network. If your call whether you set up the same network name.
