TD-8980 not working with Bt Sport

Have recently installed a BT Youview set top box on my LAN which works fine except it does not work with BT Sport when connected to a TD-8980. When I switch over to a BT Home hub4 BT Sport works fine. However the HH4 is a bit inflexible and doesn't work with my Synology NAS.. Can anybody help me with this issue.
