Hello,

i installed three Deco M5 in Accesspoint Mode. One Deco is wired to a switch (DHCP Server). The other two Deco´s are only connected via Wi-Fi to the "Main-Deco" which is wired. So, my problem is, that one of the two Deco´s which are only connected via Wi-Fi have a bad signal and so i lose the signal.

How can i solve this? I can not move this Deco to another position. But it is possible, that i wired this Deco to the same switch where the "Main-Deco" is wired. But in this case it do not work.

What can i do?

Thank you.

Positioning the Deco is a key task, and cannot be dealt with carelessly, this is what I've learnt from my experience:
1, Put the Deco up high, half way from the floor to ceiling.
2, Dont let your Deco suffocate, put it on a open space.

As for connecting the Deco via Ethernet, here's what I've got:
1, Modem/router--Switch port#1--Deco
same Switch--Deco
same Switch--Deco
This will not work

2, Modem/router--Deco--Switch--Deco
same Switch--Deco
This will certainly work.

The point is that you have to set one Deco as a main like in #2.

@tamer's suggestion is valid, should try these out.
