Hello,

I created an account because i needed help with my router after being unable to find a solution to it online at various websites. I would appreciate some help.

I bought: "TP-LINK archer D20 AC750 wireless dual band ADSL2+ Modem router for phone line connections black" over a year ago and i had no issues with it until a few days ago.

The problem is that the router doesnt seem to want to connect to the internet. When i plug in the adsl line, the 2nd light from the picture shows up fine and even the dual band wifi lights turn on perfectly fine. My devices can also connect to the router. But the routers internet light (3rd from the left in this picture https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-Archer-D20-Wireless-Connections/dp/B011NLY9WE/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 ) doesnt turn on. And therefore i cannot connect to the internet:/.

I cannot go into the default router admin through "198.168.1.1" and therefore i cannot change any settings.
I tried a different router and it worked fine without issues :/

Would like some feedback as to why the light wont show because the devices can connect but it comes up as DNS error when troubleshooting through my pc.

Ive tried rebooting it several times and also changing filters/using the test socket in the wall hub (where the filter connects to)
