Hey.I bought a deco set of 3 one week ago.And it does not work properly, the network hangs about once a day.And then I have to restart for it to work.Has recent firmware, has reinstalled the network about 6 times, i've tried to run in AP mode.But it never works flawlessly.If I run with my old router, it works flawlessly, but then the range is awful.Is there any sensible solution? Is there any firmware bug?Has 2 pc's, 4 phones, 2 ps4s, an apple tv and philips Hue bridge on the network.Mvh Linus Johansson

What about the LED status on the main Deco when it hangs? What about other units?

With the old router, have you turned off the router's wifi? I think you should, if you haven't - let the Decos do the work. I would also be replacing the ethernet cable between the router and the master Deco unit. Oh and you could try making a different Deco into the master, and leave the current master offline for a while and see what happens.

Hi,
Similar thing happens to me: every so often, one of the decos hangs (LED turns red) and takes the rest of the network down. Rebooting the deco fixes the issue.
In my experience, the likeliness of it happening seems to grow with the amount of Decos connected. With two, it only happens every day or two. With three, it happens every couple of hours.
(I first though that one of the devices was simply defective, so I exchanged it. However, it still happened even after exchanging that particular device).

Same situation here!
I have 3 Decos (bought 2 weeks ago) and once or twice per day and without any reason the 2nd one is having a red led and the internet connection is lost.
Then, I need to reboot the Deco...
Any idea? I hope the problem to be fixed.. It is very frustrating...

I'm having this problem too. Unplugging the power and plugging back in doesn't really fix it right away. I have 4 decos (from costco).

Is it possible that you have your deco's too far apart from each other, have you tried moving them really close just as a test. Because I have had mine for long time and many firmware updates and have not have this issue. I know your going to hate me for this, but you will thank me later trust me. Change your WIFI ssid to something you have never used before.(ever) Check for any static IP addresses in devices which could cause conflicts and set them to dhcp.
