(RE450) AC1750 Wifi Range extender DHCP expire problem

As my title stated , i am using RE450 Ranger extender as a wifi extender to boost my signal in my room.
I am using a Aztech modem which have a fix 4 hour of DHCP lease timing.
The problem is the lease does not renew itself during the 50% or 87.5% of the duration left in the lease timing, and once the 4th hour mark is up , i will lose connection untill my laptop receive a new DHCP lease timing from the modem which is usually within a minute.
Is there a way to solve this as my modem DHCP lease timing is fix which cannot be changed, is there any other way for me to configure my RE450?
