ArcherC9 firmware upgrade and slow internet

I recently purchased a TP-Link Archer C9 to speed up our ADSL and have installed and internet has not changed.
So, I upgraded the firmware V1, and now the web management port wont open and just sits on a blank page with "opening".
It appears that the firmware has upgrade ok, and internet is still working, but again no change to the speed of the internet.
Can anyone help please?
