I've just installed this router on a Plusnet VDSL line. Browsing the web works fine however SSH hangs after authentication. The SSH client is accessing a server on a high port. This did not happen with my previous router; this does not happen if I use the same client machine on a different network.

It happens while connected to the VR2600 from wifi or cable.

I have been through all the screens on the router's admin website and cannot find anything that seems relevant. I've tried "full cone NAT"; I've tried disabling ALG (or enabling it); I've tried setting my machine's IP as the DMZ; and various other things.

It does not happen when using SSH between machines on the LAN; just when SSHing to servers on the internet.

Can you help?
