Hi,

I was wondering if there would be any damage to my router after accidentally installing the latest US firmware on a CAD version of my Archer C7 V2? I've upgraded from a beta firmware that was stable but I thought the release from the support download center was the latest firmware for my router.

I noticed a few drop in connections from the router itself and not my modem so that's all I can figure out for now.

Firmware before upgrade:

CA 3.51.1 Build 170118

US Firmware:

3.15.3 Build 180114

it's not recommended to update between them but you do update it successfully.
so ,we can only observe whether it can keep work properly.
It should be working well because it's still working properly after you update it.

Yeah it's been running pretty good so far. Don't know why it wouldn't work. Think it would've been better if the routers were universal.
