TP-Link Router "Login Failure"

Firmware is the model/oldest.
I have a TP-LINK Model Archer C59 AC1350 Wireless Dual Band Router.
It was working until i had to login after a long period of time. I did not remember the password so reset it back to factory settings.
Afterwards i could not login and only recieved the error "Login Failure" I've done many resets. Tried the unbricking method and updating it with new firmware for example this guide: https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-1482.html (it just gives me the login page again and same error)
I've followed the manual of what type of reset i should be doing 5 seconds. Cleared the cache and tired with another device such as my laptop. This all has be through a Ethernet connection.
Really not sure of what to do next as some fourms have said its the firmware causing the "login faulire" bug but i can't upgade trhe firmware without login and i've already tried the unbricking method provided.
I can provide information of what LED's are flashing at what stages of the reset and turning of the device when people respond. I have too tried to use the teather app on my iphone. when i login it says my details are incorrect.
