Hi all,

We've recently got a new Archer C7 router and checked with our ISP if it was compatible with our network. They said it'll be if we adhere to these settings:

WAN Protocol: MAC Encapsulated Routing

WAN1 1p/VLAN ID: 1/34

WAN3 1p/VLAN ID: 5/4

PPPoE passthrough function: Enable

IP-adres: 192.168.2.254

Duplex Mode: Auto

Max Bit Rate: Auto

DHCP Server, pool Start IP: 192.168.2.1

DHCP Server, pool End IP: 192.168.2.252

And I've look through the entire basic and advanced settings via the webinterface; I can't find most of these settings. Others I did find I was reluctant to just change, because the network works (the WiFi signal is fine) but the incoming internet connection can be spotty. Resetting the router does seem to do the trick, but I hope adding these above settings can make it a good stable connection.

Can anyone help me, please? :)

Firstly, Archer C7 has only one WAN access.
We can't get WAN1 and WAN 3 at the same time.

Do you mean currently the router actually works?
If yes, you may ignore the settings provided by your ISP.

It seems those are not the basic settings you need to do on the router.
About the disconnection, you can try to change the wireless channel.
Make sure the FW of Archer C7 is the latest one.
If there is further issue with the disconnection, you may also try to consult with tp support whether there is beta firmware.
