Model : Archer c5400

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

ISP : UPC Cablecom Switzerland

Hello Guys

I got a very strange issue with my new ArcherC5400. Since 2 Days my PC looses the Network Settings and has no IP.

My infrastructure at home is the following. I got the ISP Modem connected to the Archer and from there one RJ45 Cable goes to a PowerLan. Another PowerLan is in my office and from there a Cable goes to a NetworkSwitch. Fro the NEtwork Switch i have Cables going to the different Clients (Printer, Server and my PC)
The WLAN is always accessible for my other devices and wokes just fine.

Someone has an idea what this could be ?

the Router is showing me that i should make a Firmware Update but since i read so much about Issues afterwards i did not made the update yet.

I am very thankful for any Idea. It get's on my nerves to unplug anything in the Morning to get Internet up and running again. I need to have access to my Clinet from my Workplace so i can't leave in the Morning till is running again.

You mean the connection in the office often drops?

However, the connection at home is still working properly?

If the home connection works properly, you can try to reduce the clients in the office.

Or check whether the powerline connection always work properly..

Hi

I think you misunderstood. With office i mean another Room in the same House where i got 2 Machines connected with a Wire to a Powerlan. But also if I connect the Machine directly to the Router connection is not coming back a certain Time and then anything is back to working normal.

While LAN Connection is down WLAN is Working just fine.

2018.07.25-12.25: Right now Connection is gone again while WLAN is Working just fine. It's just a complete nonsense. I don't get it why it's doing that.

2018.07.25-13.10: connection is right back
