hello

i want to setup TP-LINK TL-WA801ND as an acces point in our school. i'm using a static IP and I'm trying to set it up in a way that it doesn't conflict with other IP's.

do I have to disable DHCP, so the AP assigns different IP's to users that connect to our wifi network? is this possible or do I need a different device?

regards

DHCP is used to assign IP addresses. There is no DHCP server on access point. So all devices will obtain IP addresses from your router/DHCP server.
