Hi

I was excited to find that we have 2000Mbps available. So I purchase a pair over the weekend. However, I find myself very disappointed with the performance of these new devices compared to the 1200Mbps devices that I have.

1. The middle light is always Red. Now I know that red means poor power and the fi is to plug into another socket. Well, I have tried this unit in most of the sockets around the house and I still get Red. I do at times see Red on the 1200 devices, however, it does go back to green and is more green than red. The power socket are normal wall sockets around the house.

2. I tried one unit on a socket that has had a 1200 device. Running off this powerline is an Internet TV, which plays films from a server I have in the house. R eplacing with the new 2000 I find that the network speed of delivery is poor. It takes longer to list the folders. It takes longer to buffer up the film and the film does break up in play, which we never have had with other 1200 Powerlines.

Does anyone have any advice to resolve? I have updated with the latest Firmware on the units

SO, to be honest, I not happy with the 2000 version.

Kind regardd

Hey friend,

If you put the device into the same room with your main router and plug them into wall socket, how about the light status? Is it still red?

What's the model nuber for AV1200? What's the speed you can get from the AV2000? How about the speed you can get from AV1200?
