Hi,

I have been using the RE580D for 3 days without any problem, without disconnecting, rebooting, ... until today I was watching TV and suddendly the signal stopped.

When it happened I was not doing anything else, didn't even change channel. I thought the signal would back after a while and finally after 1 day I'm stuck without wifi from the repeater.

What I tried :

- Reboot the RE580D => Didn't work

- Reboot the router => Didn't work

- Reset RE580D =>  Didn't work

- Reset the router => Didn't work

- Tried to edit repeater settings => Didn't work

- Tried to reinstall last firmware => Didn't work

On another side I found 2 weirds things :

- When I use the Wifi from the router => Works

but when I try to use the Wifi from the repeater => It doesnt success to connect, I'm oblige to use ethernet to communicate without. Then if I insiste to connect using Wifi, I'm not able to reconnect with router's Wifi until I reboot the router...

- I have a list of errors in logs (from oldest to newest) :

  - 5G failed to connect to the front end: AUTH 5, 0.

  - 5G failed to connect to the front end: SET_SSID 1, 0.

  - 2.4G failed to connect to the front end: ROAM 3, 4.

  - 2.4GHz disconnected from the front end.

I have setup the router like this :

  WiFi 2,4 GHz :

     WPA2-PSK (AES)

     Channel 12

  Wifi 5 GHz :

     WPA2-PSK (AES)

     Channel 36

Before the problem started, the Wifi signal was :

  - Stable

  - Wifi speed : ~30-90Mbps

  - Ethernet speed : ~150Mbps

Hi there,

what's the SSID for your main router , and what's the SSID for the extender? It's suggested to setup in different name.

What's the IP address when you connect to the extender's Wi-Fi? Is it given by our main router? Can you ping your main router's Lan IP?
