I haven't been able to find my issue on any forums that I have searched. I assume that it's a setting that I have set unintentionally.

I am using an Archer C9 and it is connected to a Windows 10 desktop. I have a dlna server running via "Playon" and it works fine until I lose internet connection and then I am unable to connect to my server.

I also have windows shares that I can typically access but once I lose internet connection, I can't see my local folder shares....

I was under the impression that my lan/wlan should be completely independent of an internet connection but consistently this is the case.

I assume it's a router setting but it could be a windows 10 thing I suppose. 

Anybody have any ideas?
