Hi,

I have the following Setup:

Provider <--> Modem which runs IPv4 and IPv6 DHCP Server  <-->  TL-WR940N Router <--> Raspberry PI

And i wan't to access my raspi from outside. My ISP is only giving me an IPv6 adress, which is totally fine. I can set the AAA Record on my domain.

If i connect the raspi directly to the modem this works as intended. But if i put the TP Link router in between it won't work anymore.
I've installed the firmware update, to make it support IPv6. But the Router is not getting an IPv6 from the modem, even though the modem is assigning one to the router.

I've tried like every setting under IPv6 Support >IPv6 Setup. If i chose dhcp the router is not getting any ip assigned from the modem. If i enter the ip, assigned by the modem and shown in modems ui, as static ip, it won't work either. traffic from my clients get bridged to ipv4 on the router.

On the other hand, the IPv6 DHCP Server in the router is working fine. Every client is retrieving an ipv6 address.

I', kind of clueless what to do.
Has anybody experienced the same issue and can help me?

Regrads,

Daywalker

Hi, on the web page of the TL-WR940N, change the wan connection on the ipv6 menu may solve the issue. It's suggested to use the DHCPv6 or the SLAAC in the IPv6 Support->IPv6 Setup page. :-)
