It is a function for the television service I think, and you can do the 802.11q VLAN tagging after enable it.

Hi,

I know to a degree about IPTV but not the settings on my router.

So basically you can find Free or Pay for IPTV, this will give you TV over the internet (plus movices and other country TV depending on what you get).

I have IPTV and I access it through a M3U file and a IPTV Player app (there are free or paid ones on W10 and other platforms (Kodi))

However I have looked at my router settings for IPTV (Archer C5400)

I'm not a network guy so alot of the blow settings are alien to me...

IGMP Snooping (Off)

IGMP Proxy (On)

IGMP Version (V2) (other option is V3 ???)

Wireless MultiCast Fowarding (Enabled)

IPTV (Enabled)

ISP Profile (Custom) (lots of none EU and some that are)

Internet VLAN ID, VOIP ID & Internet Vlan (no idea what these are)

Enable IPTV MultiCast Vlan (not enabled)

LAN5 (Internet)

LAN6 (Internet)

LAN7 (Internet)

LAN8 (Internet)

All this is witchcraft to me, no option for a M3U file upload... so I've basically left well alone :)
