Issues after latest Deco firmware update
Hi, has anyone else experienced poor connection and dropouts since the latest firmware upgrade? Updated it this morning and my wifi is appaling and connectivity constantly drops. Is there any way of rolling back to the previous version?

I also tried the update and after a few minor issues, managed to upgrade/downgrade the three Deco's that were having problems. The nice part was that after upgrading the slaves, the main Deco upgraded and kept all my previous settings. This fix does work as I now have no issues with all the Deco's in the house. Definitely give it a try if you have any that are still on the 1.2.5 firmware.

what revision / build does the app say you have installed? After the fix my decos are on 1.2.5 / 20190228 / 35172 but i still have wi-fi problems.

Mine is giving me 1.2.4 / 20181106 / 48798. I've been updated for 2 days or so and everything has gone back to normal. I haven't had any drops or incorrect password errors like the 1.2.5 firmware. Yours looks like its on the 1.2.5 February 28, 2019 revision and mine looks like November 6, 2018. Are you sure it said success when you updated? I know I had to keep checking the cmd prompt that opens with the tool because it kept coming up with not finding the address errors. I finally resolved by refreshing the normal cmd prompt with "arp -a" per windows instructions and left no spaces at the end of my ip/server address when I copied it. It then connected and took the 3-4 minutes to update with a success line in the cmd prompt that came with the tool. Hoped this helps, I know it is really frustrating!

Has anyone else applied this fix? Did it work? I have been stable on 1.2.5 since I switched off 5Ghz but am tempted to apply the fix now as TP-Link don't seem to be rolling out fixed firmware through the app any time soon.
I am really surprised that they haven't just rebadged the previous 1.2.4 firmware as 1.2.6 and pushed it out through the app; surely that's the easiest and obvious way to get rid of the failed 1.2.5 firmware and put everyone back in a known stable place.

Interesting; just checked and still says "currently up-to-date" on 1.2.5 for the M5.

1.2.6 on M9 is 1.2.5 on M5, same features, but maybe with network issues corrections

So why have they not pushed 1.2.6 with the features and corrections out for M5? Doesn't make much sense.

I don't know, but look.
M9 with 126
M5 with 125

The TP Link support team sent me 1.2.6 for the M5 but it did not solve the 5GHz problem.
