Unable to access Archer C8 remotely

Good day,
- I enabled remote control in Advanced -> Tools -> Admin.
- I enabled "allow all devices to access"
- I selected port 8080
- I went to www.canyouseeme.org and made sure port 8080 is accessible.
I then set up DDNS with No-IP, entered all the details into the DDNS part of Archer C8 interface and was able to log in.
I am not able to reach the router from an external network. I tried both http://no-ipServerName:8080 and https://no-ipServerName:8080 - with no luck. I can only access the router from within the home wifi, but that is not what I am looking for.
I also went to the ISP-provided modem and tried adding NAT/port forwarding - still no luck.
Help will be greatly appreciated.

Try using your actual ISP IPv4 address with the port number. Also try using the Tether app.

Good that you are working now. Not sure either. Power down and up both the modem and router may help these unexplained things. I always power down and up the router after I have made changes so I do not get a surprise when it does get powered cycled. I also got a good UPS with voltage control which seems to make things very stable.

Do not know either. If it happens again, try using a different DNS service or using your actual ISP IPv4 address provided by your ISP and your port number (something like 99.99.999.999:80)
