Does anyone know how to extend the timeout on the management page? When troubleshooting, it's infuriating to have to keep signing in every five minutes or so.

Do you mean you need sign in to the management page every 5 minutes? it seems that there is no option on the router itself to extend it.

 

While, as a workaround, you can use Tether app to manage it. https://www.tp-link.com/en/download/Archer-MR200.html#Apps

Sorry I missed this, Anton. Sad there's no way of extending the timeout. I've downloaded the Tether app and we'll see how I get on with that. Thanks very much for your help.

I'm a new owner of a VR900, and I just want to add to the chorus of disapproval on this subject!

 

It's absolutely infuriating having to keep logging back in all the time. The timeout period is far too short. It's MY device in MY house, I should be in control of this!
